We are thrilled to introduce our newest addition, classic Kurouchi style knives from Yosimitu Kajiya!!!

Yosimitu Kajiya is a family run artisan blacksmith from Shimabara peninsula in Nagasaki Prefecture.

Yosimitu was established in 1937 and the 3rd generation blade - smith,  Junichi Ide san forges traditional Kurouchi style kitchen knives as well as fishery and farming tools.
Ide san's knives are rustic, light, sharp and as they are all handcrafted, every knife looks different from each other makes them unique and special.

Kyushu region is another famous area for metal works and blacksmithing from ancient times and Yosimitu inherits classical skills and techniques of forging steels that major knife manufacturers have abandoned ages ago.

Check these light weight sleek knives out and hoyou like the new addition!
