Gyuto is a traditional Japanese style chef knife most commonly used in the kitchens in Japan and gaining popularity worldwide.
This Gyuto has a great size in width ( 60 mm at heel ) so when slicing or mincing on chopping board, it is less likely to hit your knuckle against as well as the wide blade face helps cutting without forcing.
The Blade is made of Swedish 12C27 stainless steel and has 50: 50 universal edge for both hand users.
12C27 is a high performance, very reliable knife steel and has an amazing reputation for easy maintenance and long edge life.
The semi octagonal handle is made of Red Ironbark that is very dense and durable.
The polished natural wooden handles are so comfortable to hold and can add a beautiful colour to the kitchen.
