Deba knife is a heavy and thick traditional Japanese fish filleting knife.
Deba has a single bevel with a concave at the flat side ( back ) for exceptional flow and food release against the fresh.
Unlike western filleting knife, Deba has solid blade developed from Japanese cuisine and food culture using all part of fish to create dishes.
If you have never used Deba before, you might feel uncertain for the first few goes but once you get used to how it works, there is no way back.
This Deba is made from AEB-L Stainless steel and is designed for right hand use.
The handle is made of octagonal Mahogany and Blackbutt ferrule.
The polished natural wood gives a very comfortable grips.
